Announcement symposium Monday 15th January 2018, Radboud University Nijmegen

Multi-method research in behavioural science: let’s exchange ideas!

It has been increasingly recognized that medical and health related research projects benefit from integrating different methods. The combination of different skills and views contribute to solving the most intractable problems and the use of a multi-method approach is essential in complex interventions to improve health. This multidisciplinary symposium introduces the attendants to different methods of data gathering used in behavioral science and gives insights in possible analytical strategies. Different data types are discussed such as self- and peer-reported survey data, social network (‘beacon’) data, real-time physical activity data (i.e., steps) and location information, photos and social media chat conversations.
